not me writing dialogue for characters whose non-thw voices I haven’t heard in any capacity in almost a decade. I am going off of vibes and vibes alone here. And also all the dialogue from all the other httyd book-movie crossovers I’ve read recently. But mostly just vibes.

#httyd #rest stop au #I’m not counting thw because I literally do not remember any of the original dialogue from that film #The only dialogue I remember from thw is the part of the monologue at the end that was copy-pasted from the books #and that the writers clearly worked backwards from in order to have its existence in the film make sense #To be fair the dialogue in presupposition was also based purely off of vibes and many of its readers liked it so #Of course presupposition was revised after I found its first version in a notebook in my handwriting #Despite the fact that I Do Not remember writing it #So the two fics may not be entirely comparable
